How Big is the Cuisinart Griddle Plate?
You might assume (as I did) that this 2-burner Cuisinart griddle is half the size of a 4-burner model, like the Blackstone Griddle Cooking Center.
However, the Cuisinart has 644 square inches of cooking space, while the Blackstone offers 720.
As you can see in the photo on the left, you can cook a good amount of food at one time. Plus, you get 2 separate cooking zones.
So, if you want a portable griddle that you can use for parties or tailgaters, the Cuisinart can provide a good option.

Cuisinart Griddle Cooking Center Comparison:
Cuisinart also makes a round griddle cooking center on wheels. The circular shape makes it easier to access from all sides, but the cooktop is significantly smaller.
The Cooking Center also comes with a lid/cover, which gives you the ability to steam foods. Plus, the “edgeless” griddle plate allows you to quickly push off excess grease (with a griddle scraper) into the drip tray.
However, this round version doesn’t have folding or detachable legs. Therefore, it doesn’t have the convenient portability of the Cuisinart gas griddle above.
Besides that, both models cost about the same, have the same heat output and offer 2 burners to create 2 different cooking zones.
